I believe that the body knows how to heal itself if it is given the right tools. As a Pain Resolution Therapist, I take my clients through a journey of self-discovery and healing where you learn what patterns keep your body/mind/spirit in pain and tension. Clients learn how to undo those patterns and build new functional pain free movement and flow into your body/mind/spirit.
I specialize in correcting chronic pain patterns and re-igniting functional movement in my clients so that they can get back to living their lives and doing the things they love to do. I am an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, Somatic Exercise Coach, Hatha Yoga and Pilates Mat and Reformer Teacher. I have developed a unique and highly effective mode of rehabilitation that utilizes the principles and traditions of Yoga, Pilates and Somatic Education, called Yoga/Pilates Rehab. After 7 wonderful years as Co-owner of East Village Yoga, I moved into Private Practice in Yoga/Pilates Rehab getting clients out of pain with Yoga Therapy and Somatic Education and developing their core strength and flexibility with Yoga and Pilates. I am a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and have been studying and working with bodies to get them out of pain through movement and mindfulness since 2005.
